What is Text App?

Text App brings chats, tickets, and automation together — so your team can work smarter, stay aligned, and deliver better service, without jumping between tools.

Why are we switching to the new app?

To help you deliver faster, more consistent support. Text App brings LiveChat, HelpDesk, and ChatBot into one streamlined experience — reducing distractions and keeping your team focused on customers.

Is this a full replacement or just a new interface?

Text App is a new all-in-one product that replaces the LiveChat, ChatBot, and HelpDesk apps.

Will all the features from LiveChat, HelpDesk, and ChatBot be available in the new app?

Yes, all core features are being brought into Text App, gradually and with care. Some advanced tools will be added later in 2025.

Will my team need to be trained again?

If your team knows LiveChat, they'll feel right at home. We kept the good stuff and made it more intuitive. You'll get helpful material and your dedicated Product Expert is just a message away.

How will Text App benefit us if we only use LiveChat?

Even if you're only using chat, Text App gives you a smoother chat workflow right away. Bots and tickets are also built in — all in one shared view, with a setup that's ready to grow with your team.

Data & Configuration

Will all our data be automatically migrated?

Yes. All your data — including tickets, chat history, workflows, and settings — will be moved over with your account. You don't need to set anything up from scratch.

What happens to our ticket rules, bot workflows, groups, and agent settings?

Chat and ticket rules, bot scenarios, groups, and agent settings will be moved too.

Will our current integrations (Shopify, HubSpot, Zapier, etc.) work the same way?

Key integrations like Shopify, HubSpot, and Zapier will carry over. Some functionality or less common integrations may take a bit more time to bring into Text App, but we'll keep you updated on our progress.

Will anything need a manual setup?

No. A big part of this transition is making sure it's smooth and effortless on your end, with no manual work required.

Will there be onboarding guides or videos?

Yes. You'll get walkthroughs, videos, and a clear checklist.

What kind of support will be available during the rollout?

As an early adopter, you'll get fast-track support with a dedicated Product Expert, optional live Q&A sessions, and on-demand help — including walkthroughs, guides, and checklists to support your move.

Will our current pricing or plan change?

No. Your current plan and pricing will stay the same. Our focus is on giving you value with the new Text App. If anything changes in the future, we'll make sure you're informed well in advance and have flexible options.

Are there changes to usage limits (seats, bots, or storage etc.)?

No. We're not planning any new usage limits until September. We are focusing on delivering value to Text App.

When will the full version of Text App be released?

We plan to release Text App to all customers by the end of the year.

Can we switch back to the previous setup if we run into issues?

Yes. If needed, you can switch back to the previous setup by contacting your Product Expert.
