Head of Product - Setup Experience
At Text, we onboard tens of thousands of customers who handle over 2 billion chats every year. We know how much a great setup experience matters. That’s why we’re looking for someone to own and scale the product strategy for this critical part of the journey.
In this role, you’ll drive real business impact. Not only by removing friction in the initial setup, but also by creating moments of delight across every customization step in the customer lifecycle.
What You’ll Do
Own the Setup Experience strategy, covering both first-time onboarding and ongoing configuration.
Design AI-first patterns that guide users through setup and agentic workflows.
Represent Setup Experience in company-wide leadership and planning discussions.
Define product standards for setup, messaging, sequencing, error handling, and more.
Connect onboarding decisions to business outcomes like activation, conversion, and retention.
Partner across teams to influence roadmaps and company direction.
Uphold rigor in every detail, from default states to loading, error, and success messages.
What We’re Looking For
Experience as part of a SaaS leadership team, with 5+ years in product roles and at least 3 years owning growth, onboarding, or activation domains.
A track record of shipping onboarding flows that turn sign-ups into returning customers.
Proof that your product decisions directly influenced revenue, retention, or customer success.
The ability to turn vague feedback like “this feels too hard” into “don’t make me think” flows.
Experience scaling teams while keeping the quality bar high, without compromising speed.
A deep care for the tiny details and invisible parts of UX: empty states, defaults, microcopy.
A hands-on approach to engaging with new customers and translating their feedback into repeatable product wins.
How we work
We’re a hybrid team – remote when it makes sense, onsite when it matters most.
Once per quarter, your whole team spends 5 working days together at our Wrocław office – a time for focused execution, unblocking work, and driving key outcomes.
Our office is open year-round – drop by anytime.
