Filters are useful tools for finding specific groups of chats. In Text App, you can create your own filter sets in Archives and save them as private or shared Chat views. This lets you quickly access them from the left navigation bar in the Inbox section.
How to create a custom view
To create a Chat view:
Go to the Inbox section and open the Archives tab.
Select filters to find a specific group of chats.
Click Save.

Enter a name for the view and select whether it should be private or shared with teammates (only Admins can create shared views)
Click Save view.
Once saved, your new Chat view will appear in the left navigation bar.

Share a view (admins)
Some views are useful for the whole team. Admins can share views, allowing everyone to use the same, consistent filters.
Share while creating
When creating the view, select Save as shared view.
Shared Chat view visibility
Use the Team filter to specify which teammates can see the view.
Agents can create personal views. Only Admins can mark a view as shared.
Editing and deleting views
To update an existing Chat view:
Open the view you want to edit.
Adjust the filters as needed.
Click Save and select Update current view.

To rename a view or change its visibility, click the three-dots icon at the top and select Edit view.

To delete a Chat view:
Click the three-dots icon.
Select Delete view.
Confirm the action.
Once deleted, the view is permanently removed.
Chat view errors

If any filters are highlighted in red, it means that a filter value used in the view is no longer available.
To resolve this issue, update the filters to use current, valid values.
