A clearer view on chat-influenced revenue
We’ve tightened how we credit chat for orders. Instead of the previous 30-day window, we now count orders placed within 7 days of a chat, so you see the sales most closely linked to a chat. It’s the same chat performance, measured more precisely.
Where chat meets revenue
Every customer question that lands in your inbox is a buying decision in progress. Tracking the revenue that follows your chats shows you what chat contributes to your sales, so you can decide where to put your time and budget. In Text, you can find this data on sales reports: All sales, AI Agent sales and Sales conversion.
Accurate data is what makes these reports useful. That’s why we’re refining how chat gets credit for orders.
How we count orders now
The majority of orders linked to a chat happen within 7 days of the conversation. The longer the gap between a chat and an order, the more other things influence the purchase. By counting only orders within a week, we’re focusing your reports on the sales with the clearest link to chat, giving you far more meaningful data.
What to expect
The new window applies to orders from November 2026 onward. Earlier data isn’t recalculated, so you may notice a step change in your reports around that date. This drop reflects a more precise definition, not a change in how chats, campaigns, or the AI Agent perform.
